VILLA YORGOS
Villa Yorgos is a beautifully
finished, well-equipped modern house in a traditional setting. It
belongs to Yorgos Hatzigiannakis who comes from an old Halkian
family and who lives on the island.
The house is located among the picturesque layers of buildings which
rise up the hillside surrounding the natural amphitheatre of Halki
harbour. It has superb views down to the waterfront with its shops,
bars and tavernas, and beyond to the islands of Alimnia and Rhodes.
Inside the house consists of a kitchen/living room, 2 bedrooms, a
bathroom and 2 balconies.
The kitchen is very well-equipped with modern fittings, a large
fridge and separate cooker.
The main bedroom
is large and airy with a comfortable double bed, dressing table,
closet and chair. The twin bedroom is small and up slightly steep
stairs which means it is not suitable for very young children. Both bedrooms have
balconies opening out from double doors, and there is another
terrace outside the front door. The bathroom is modern and contains
a bath as well as a shower.
The house is only 10 minutes walk to the 2 main beaches of Halki,
Pondamos and Ftenayia, and less than 5 minutes down to the shops and
tavernas on the harbour front.
Regular cleaning
and linen changes are included in the cost of your holiday rental,
and everything is done to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
